My client is a privately owned IT company that is in growth mode and is looking to add an additional head to the team to help the Financial Controller with the general clerical duties. With approximately 25 staff, about 12 in Head office this has a lovely family feel to the company where people really know one another.
The role of Accounts clerk will take care of payables and receivables with a bigger focus on receivables. You will be tasked with daily allocations, bank reconciliations, some credit control as well as full function accounts payable. As the business continues to expand there is an opportunity to take on other responsibilities but first and foremost you will need to own the AP and AR functions.
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone who has shown a stable background of employment and has a very solid understanding of AP and AR. You will be someone that enjoys owning the clerical function and enjoys working in a small close knit team. The work life balance is good here, it's a relatively relaxed environment with a more mature team so will suit someone who wants a role where they can stay for some time.
