Operating in the Leasing industry, my client is based in city fringe and has been at the forefront of its industry for over 25 years. They are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Working as part of a wider team of six in Finance, you will be reporting to the Financial Accountant and will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable function of the organisation. On a daily basis you will be downloading the bank statement and allocating payments to the correct customer accounts. The volume of transactions daily is very large so they have a system that auto allocates ~80% of transactions with you investigating the exceptions.
You will need to have strong investigation skills to match the payments with missing details and be comfortable liaising with other departments/customers to get the missing information. There is a separate Credit Control team so you will not be required to follow up overdue accounts but will be responding to queries from customers etc.
You will be comfortable dealing with large volumes of data, have excellent communication skills and intermediate excel capability. You will enjoy working in a team environment but also be happy to work autonomously. Most importantly this role is to go until at least March 2018 so you must feel comfortable committing to the duration of the contract.
