With a large office based in the heart of Auckland CBD, this media company has a strong brand name and continues to grow. It is a busy team environment and as the work load continues to grow, the team are looking for an Accounts Clerk who can hit the ground running.
As the Accounts Clerk you will be reporting into the Finance Manager as part of a wider team of 6 in finance. You will be assisting the Accountant and specifically dealing with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. For Accounts Payable you will be inputting and processing invoices into the system, coding and preparing payment batches for all company invoices. For the Accounts Receivable side you will be dealing with the daily banking, allocating and receipting and reconciliation of multiple bank accounts. If you are capable then there will be more responsibilities available for you to handle.
You will have similar experience working as an Accounts Clerk or Accounts Assistant in a busy environment and comfortable handling high volumes. You will have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with people across the business, high attention to detail and most importantly have a positive personality for this outgoing team.
