My client is a large NZ business with a well-known brand who is in expansion mode. Based on the city fringe, this company is centrally located and has a great new office complex. With a down to earth team, the people in this business are real NZ and need someone who will also fit into this mold.
The role of Accounts payable is one of 5 in a team environment where you get to own your specific area within the operational side of the business. You will perform a full function Accounts payable role right through to payments runs. What is really important is your ability to work in a high volume environment but really think about the costs and the complexity of where the costs will end up being processed. You will be expected to really support the operations of this business which is project driven in nature.
The company is implementing Cofax this year so this AP role has a mixture of both purchase order, manual data entry & eventually a much more automated process. You can get involved in this project.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least 2-3 years solid AP experience under your belt. It will be very important that you can partner the operations people who do call a spade, a spade. So having strong communication skills, and the ability to have a laugh but at the same time working to a high quality of work standards is vital.
