My client is a large organization that has a mid sized team operating close to a $100M turnover business. The organization operates in the hospitality sector. They require a temporary resource to fill a gap within the team due to a resignation. There is also the possibility for the right person for this opportunity to be temporary to permanent.
You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager and handling the full function of Accounts Receivable. This will include dealing with all allocations and receipting for multiple customers as money is received. You will be dealing with complex reconciliations especially around Eftpos reconciliations. You will also be following up on any discrepancies and overdue accounts. You will also deal with some compliance associated with the business and other ad-hoc reporting as required.
You will have vast experience within a similar role and attention to detail will be one of your major strengths. Experience with Great Plains is desired but not essential. Experience with large accounting systems will set you apart. You will be comfortable liaising with others and being part of a team environment. Understanding of excel and the ability to do v-lookups is expected. You will have a good work ethic and have a high standard of work.
