My client is a NZ business with an import and retail focus. Having been in operation for over 20 years this is an established business with operations throughout NZ. The business has a strong presence in its market space and has a well-known brand name due to the business's success.
As an Assistant Accountant you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager within a team of eight. Your main responsibilities include:
- Multiple bank, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Cash flow reporting
- Intercompany transactions
- Month end duties
- Accounts Receivable
- Other duties will be maintaining lease agreements, Insurance and customer rebates. You may also be required to assist with Accounts Payable.
You will have significant Assistant Accountant experience ideally with knowledge of MYOB. Excellent communication skills are a must. You will be comfortable dealing with high volumes in a busy environment, working with deadlines and will enjoy working within a larger team.
