Our client is a large well known company, looking for a payroll officer for a long term temp role due to a project. Due to the company's reputation and the way they treat their staff, this organisation has minimal turnover and is looking for a staff member who can commit to a long term contract.
You will be reporting to the Payroll manager working in a team of 4 in Payroll. To enable an effective payroll process, you will need to build strong relationships with the business managers and the team at large. As part of this role you will be assisting with new processes and the full processing of payroll for 500 staff in a fairly manual process that will require good processing skills and attention to detail..
To be considered for this role, we are looking for a hands-on individual who enjoys working in a team environment and wants to take ownership of the payroll area with excellent knowledge of payroll as well as processing experience as well as processing experience. Most importantly though, you will be frequently liaising with the staff and managers so someone who has good communication and relationship-building skills is required.
Experience with large Payroll systems and manual processing will be advantageous and set you apart from other applicants.
