Operating in the IT industry this organisation has grown significantly in the past 18-24 months due to winning a number of significant tenders. They have bright and spacious offices in the Britomart area and provide free parking!
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for the company. The staff numbers 300+ with the majority being paid weekly. The process is fairly straightforward with the information on hours worked being extracted directly from the CRM system and entered directly into the Payroll System. You will be responsible for setting up new employees, amendments and terminations along with the usual PAYE returns etc.
The assignment is due to start ASAP as the incumbent is moving to a new role in a few weeks but plenty of handover will be available. There are others in the team who currently provide backup so there will still be people around for payroll support throughout the assignment
You will have experience processing relatively large payrolls (ideally 100+ staff if payroll has just been a portion of your previous role), excellent communication skills as you will be answering staff queries and be able to start in the next week to 10 days
