My client is a large organization with a very broad range of services and therefore a complex procurement function within the business. Due a structural change, the organization is looking to hire two procurement officers who will work together to manage this function, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
As the procurement officer, you will be responsible for ensuring all purchase requisites are processed through the organization appropriately. Essentially your role will include:
To be considered for this role, we are looking for a procurement specialist. You must enjoy communicating across the business to a wide audience of both business and academics. You must be able to demonstrate strong time management capability, ability to meet deadlines and have strong attention to detail and accuracy. You could be an experienced mature profile with years of experience in this field or alternatively you could see yourself in this role for say two years and then be looking for a step within the organization. What is important is that you have had experience in the procurement field previously.
