The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant you will be reporting directly to the Division Manager as part of a wider team of 10 within our Finance & Accounting team. You will be responsible for;

  • Recruiting candidates for Finance & Accounting roles across Auckland
  • Conducting Business Development meetings with new clients
  • Managing existing client relationships
  • Uncovering additional opportunities through contact with clients/candidates
  • Gaining referrals of new candidates
  • Composing job ads and managing the response through resume selection, phone screening and email response
  • Conducting face to face interviews
  • Providing value add career advice
  • Conducting references
  • Recommending suitable candidates to open job vacancies

Your Profile

Resilient, motivated and driven! You will need to be task and goal orientated and thrive on overachieving in a target-driven environment. An ability to demonstrate a proven track record of achievement both personally and professionally is essential. Ideally you will have either an understanding of finance and accounting and be looking for a change in career direction, or alternatively have experience in a sales environment where you have a proven track record of high achievement relative to targets.
