My client is an innovating NZ business that's spread across the ditch and making waves in the transport & logistics industry. The company is highly diverse with multiple operating units, a finance team of considerable size. Due to growth, they are now looking for an experienced Accounts Clerk with industry experience to join their dynamic team in this
As the Accounting Clerk you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and working in a team of six. You will be processing both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for the business which will require someone who is good at multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
You will be preparing all AR invoices and using set rates to invoice correctly. This will also require liaising with multiple areas of the business to ensure all quotes and invoices are correct and adhere to the tiered rating system. Once this is completed you will be processing all accounts payable invoices into the system, this is coded to the specific job and you will be dealing with complicated on-charge invoices ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely and efficient manner.
To be considered for this role, we are looking for an experienced candidate who has ideally transport and logistics experience as well as experience working with Xero. You will need to have high attention to detail and a strong work ethic to ensure you are motivated to reach deadlines. You will be comfortable liaising with others in the office and the ability to pick up systems will be beneficial. You will be a team player and flexible to help out with the wider team workload.
