Based in Mangere with large offices, this global logistics and freight company have a brand name which is well recognised. They have strong processes in place and are looking for some assistance to help over the next 6 months. You are working in a team environment and the culture they are looking for is someone who will be able to help out in any way they can.
In this Accounts Receivable role you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working within a larger finance team. For the Accounts Receivable side you will be working with two other people in the department. Your role will be overseeing all billing processes and ensuring that there is no issues with the billing done by an external team. You will be required to look at specific contracts and manually adjusting invoices. You will be allocating and receipting money coming in and raising any variances and issues within the systems. You will be dealing with intercompany billing so a strong understanding of billing and accounts is crucial along with excellent written and verbal communication as you will be liaising internally with teams based all around the globe.
You will have strong Accounts Receivable experience and ideally have worked in large billing environments previously. You will have an analytical mind and working experience in the freight industry or similar. Excellent communication skills is vital as you are liaising with others internally and attention to detail is key for this position. You will enjoy working in a large organisation but be able to multi task to ensure work is completed to a high level.
Experience with systems like Cargowise or other logistics/freight systems would be very beneficial.
