My client is a Private Company that is well established and offers stability and a true family feel. The team is close knit and have long standing service from their employees. This role is a general all-rounder who wants to be part of a small but friendly team.
As the Accounts Assistant you will report directly into the GM in NZ but support a full function finance team based in Brisbane. This role has a variety of tasks that include Accounts payable, Receivable/Credit control and administration. Accurate coding of invoices makes the AP process more complex than your standard AP processing role but it isn't high volume. The AR/CC side again is not overly complex but requires someone that understands the process and can build relationships with the customers.
The general admin required in the role can be very varied and we are just looking for someone that enjoys working in a small team and helping out where required.
To be considered for this role you will have previously worked in a role which has exposed you to the full AP/AR process. You will need to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously whilst at the same time being able to reach out to Australia if you need additional support. You may be flown to Australia initially for some training. You will also need to show an ability to communicate clearly both here in NZ and with the Australian team. Really it will be your attitude towards being a team player that will stand you apart in this role.
