Located in Penrose, this company is a large manufacturing company dealing with a diverse product range. They have a big emphasis on sustainability that encompasses people, the planet and profit. With parking available and flexibility in the role, this is a perfect position for someone who is able to work hard and enjoy working in a team environment. They are currently going through a large project and are looking for a point of contact for both the finance team and the project team leads.
As the Accounting Clerk you will be liaising with both the Finance Team and the team leads of a specific project. This role will be varied and require someone who can adapt to many different areas of the project. Your main responsibilities will include, receipting goods as they are being received for the project, creating purchase orders and inputting transactions into SAP. You will be managing all invoices for the project and coding appropriately. You will be the point of contact for the project leads and dealing with payroll for contractors in relation to the project. Other ad-hoc duties and reporting as requested by the project manager.
You will have experience working in a varied and mixed position where you are handling a range of different accounting functions. Experience working in customer service or administration will also be very useful for this role. You will have strong excel skills and attention to detail is very important. You will have good organisational skills and the ability to work in a project environment. SAP is ideal but not vital. People skills and the ability to communicate with others is essential for this role.
