My client is a real NZ success story. The company is a privately owned business which has grown from its inception since 2009 & is circa $200M turnover this year. The company has operations across Asia, Australia & obviously NZ. It is a very down to earth Kiwi culture and has a fabulous feel.
The role of Finance Manager is newly created due to sheer growth. The role will report to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for the NZ finance function. Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of the month end, staff management of two, Board reporting, tax compliance, getting involved with budgeting, and process improvement as well as partnering the GM adding commercial value around customer analysis, margin and product analysis.
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone who wants to work for growing NZ business. As the business is looking to add a bit more corporate efficiency within, you may have worked in a corporate but this is a very down to earth business so you need to be relatively relaxed but professional at the same time.
You will enjoy being hands on but also being involved in the business. My client is looking for someone who has some life experience under the belt & some maturity. You must have had staff management previously. Technically you will be proven in running a finance department and have relatively strong excel skills. It will be an advantage if you have stock experience. You must have strong excel skills.
