My client is in the retail industry with a well-known brand. With offices located in central Auckland, they offer a fun and vibrant culture within a close knit finance team.
As the payroll officer you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager. You will have full responsibility for paying approximately 250 people in a combination of wages and salaries. You will be using payglobal which is integrated with some teething issues just being worked through currently. You will have a full function responsibility for the payroll area and also may be assisting with other areas of the business as required.
To be considered for this role my client is looking for an individual who has some strong experience in payroll. Your experience may not be as many as 250 people to pay but as long as you can demonstrate an understanding of payroll legislation you can grow the size of your experience. Your attention to detail, ability to learn and your can do attitude are paramount for your success in this role.
