As the unemployment rate is nearing an all-time low for Finance & Accounting professionals, companies are finding it extremely challenging to hire staff through direct channels. As such, more and more companies are turning to Robert Half to source highly skilled finance staff to join their teams. As the skills shortage deepens over the rest of 2017 and beyond, we are looking for an energetic, dynamic and motivated individual to help us keep up with the increasing demand from clients.
The role of a Recruitment Consultant is incredibly varied but can be broken down into 2 main areas - 1) Headhunting highly skilled candidates to join our client's teams and 2) Building long term relationships with new and existing clients so we are in a position to offer exciting career opportunities to our candidates.
A typical day will see you headhunting candidates, screening job applicants, conducting interviews, prospecting for new business over the phone, booking business development meetings, visiting new and existing clients on-site, giving salary advice to candidates/clients and negotiating consulting fees.
Drive, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit are essential! You are a people person who enjoys building long term relationships with customers and enjoy the thrill of finding new customers. You pride yourself on your business acumen to not only identify opportunities to increase revenue from new and existing clients but also to become a trusted advisor to candidates and hiring managers, to ensure they are kept abreast of current labour market conditions.
Excellent communication skills are a must, top notch organizational skills are required but most importantly you will have a fun, friendly and positive personality to fit into this social and outgoing team!
