The role of Accounts Receivable & Customer Services Team Leader will report to the Administration Manager and be part of a sub-team of five. You will have full ownership of the Accounts Receivables while guiding and assisting a team of 2 Customer Services Reps. This is a very high-volume environment in terms of numbers of invoices and you will be focused on some of the large customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the AR function to ensure trade debtors are managed appropriately
- Escalate and report upward where appropriate
- Resolve customer queries
- Maintain customer master data
- Monitor AR balances and chase over dues
- Reconciliation of key customer accounts
- Provide weekly/monthly reports on balances
- Work with operations on any processing issues
- Assist in the audit process
- Other ad hoc duties
To be considered for this role, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable clerk with a background in customer service. You will enjoy problem solving and can demonstrate strong reconciliation abilities. You definitely need to have some get up & go; my client is looking for someone that will engage with the business with strong communication skills and someone that loves taking ownership of their role.
