The Company This NZ owned organisation operates in a niche sub-sector of the health industry and prides itself on patient care and quality of service. They have easily accessible offices for central, west and south candidates with lots of discounted paid parking around. The Role Reporting to the General Manager and working in a sole charge internal accounts role. You will mainly be responsible for processing a range of different accounts payable invoices, receipting of money coming in and handling multiple reconciliations to help prepare for month end. You will be assisting the external accountant with yearend preparation and audits and acting as a point of call for the board in relation to financial matters. You will be also be responsible for dealing with a few administrative tasks so this role will be varied in tasks and the organisation is looking for someone who is open to being able to handle both accounts and administrative responsibilities.
Your Profile You will have a friendly personality, at least a couple of years in a similar position and intermediate excel skills. The team is close-knit and friendly so someone with a positive personality would really enjoy this environment. The system used is Xero, so it is preferred that you will have proven experience working with that system.
