Located close to the motorway and with easy access to public transport. This organisation have branches around New Zealand but this role will be within the head office. They specialize in the transport industry and have a small team dynamic but expect the right candidate to work hard to help others throughout the organisation.
As the Accounts Clerk you will be reporting to the Company Accountant and working within a team of three. This will be a mixed role where you will be processing Accounts Payable invoices into MYOB Exonet and doing everything from coding to payment runs. You will also be supporting another part time Accounts Receivable officer with invoicing including handling queries, allocations and receipting. You will be looking after payroll processing wages and salary staff payroll weekly. You will also be handling a range of different reconciliations as required.
You will have experience working in a similar role where you have had exposure to a range of different accounting aspects. You will have high attention to detail and be a quick learner with the ability to work well with others. Experience with MYOB is not essential but strong understanding of accounting packages will be preferred. You will enjoy working in a team environment and in this role you will have to liaise with different branches so you must have excellent communication skills.
