My client is a well-recognized company that has multiple brands which most New Zealanders would associate with. Operating for over 100 years, they really pride themselves on great customer service and have more than one million members on their database.
The role of Accounts clerk will report to the Management accountant and be part of a team of three. You will be in charge of ensuring all online reservation enquiries and alterations are answered smoothly and for Accounts Payable you will be inputting and processing invoices into the system, coding and preparing payment batches for all company invoices. For the Accounts Receivable side you will be dealing with the daily banking, allocating and receipting and reconciliation of multiple bank accounts. If you are capable then there will be more responsibilities available for you to handle.
You will have practical experience working in a similar varied role so you need to be comfortable looking at multiple areas of Accounting. You will have experience working in high volumes and dealing with deadlines and have excellent communication skills. You will have intermediate to advanced excel skills and be open to working in a changing environment which includes being very adaptable.
